Lake Placid, NY - The New Jersey Devils Pee Wee B team took home the Bronze medal at the Can / Am Tournament, November 3-6, 2011 in Lake Placid, NY.  The tournament kicked off with a 1-0 win over the Lexington Bedford Revolution, goal compliments of David Sharpe, goalie Brad Hotz stopped all Revolution shots.  After a second game 4-0 loss to the New Canaan Winter Club, the Devils came back to outscore the S & S Blades 4-2, with goals by Matthew Dallow, Thomas Colicchio, Justin Ajmo, and Max Kops.  Entering their fourth and final round robin game against the Scarsdale Raiders, the team faced a “must win, shut out” outcome to advance to a medal game.  The Devils delivered on that order serving up a 5-0 win with goals by Max Kops, Connor Allen, David Sharpe (2), and Matthew Dallow – goalie Jared Brunner provided the needed shut out.

With a 3-1 record overall and only 6 GA, the team entered the Bronze medal game against Reading.  Both teams remained scoreless until the 3rd period when David Sharpe scored his fourth goal of the tournament.  Later in the 3rd period, Sharpe would score the final, empty net goal of the game for the Devils to earn the Bronze medal with a 2-0 win.
